Factores que determinan la demanda de mano de obra en una empresa textil marplatense

Abstract

En este trabajo se presentan los resultados obtenidos al aplicar un modelo de regresión lineal múltiple a datos brindados por una empresa textil marplatense. El objetivo perseguido es analizar los principales factores determinantes de la demanda de mano de obra de la firma, siendo las variables finalmente seleccionadas -luego de probar una serie de modelos alternativos- las siguientes: a) Índice de salario real básico del convenio de la industria y la construcción personal calificado, promedio general y por actividad, deflactado por IPC 1988=100, para el Sector Textil; y b) Promedio de unidades demandadas en los dos meses anteriores al de la observación, asimilando con este fin las unidades vendidas por la empresa en igual período. La variable dependiente está representada por la cantidad de empleados de fábrica ocupados por mes, formulándose el modelo.
