Abstract

Les Ententes Salariales Signees Apres une Greve Sont-Elles Differentes des Autres Ententes Salariales? S'il Advenait Que les Premieres Soient Plus Elevees Que les Autres Ententes Salariales, L'activite de Greve Aurait un Effet Positif Sur L'evolution des Salaires. les Auteurs Qui Ont Etudie Ce Sujet Ont Generalement Fait L'hypothese D'un Effet Positif des Greves Sur les Ententes Salariales et Leurs Resultats Empiriques Semblaient Appuyer Leur Hypothese. Dans une Premiere Section de Cet Article Nous Remettons En Cause L'hypothese D'une Relation Positive Entre la Greve et le Niveau D'une Entente Salariale. En Effet, Dependant du Modele de Greve Retenu, on Peut Aussi Bien Inferer un Effet Positif, Negatif Que Nul des Greves Sur les Ententes Salariales. a L'aide de Donnees Individuelles Sur 1915 Ententes Salariales Signees Dans le Secteur Manufacturier Canadien Entre 1968 et 1981, Nous Montrons Dans une Deuxieme Section Que, Contrairement aux Resultats des Etudes Anterieures, Nos Resultats Empiriques Appuient Fortement L'hypothese D'une Incidence Nulle des Greves Sur les Ententes Salariales. a la Section 3, Nous Discutons des Differences Entre Nos Resultats et Ceux des Etudes Anterieures.
