A More Diverse Teaching Force May Improve Educational Outcomes for Minority Students (Infographic)

Abstract

Research shows that a diverse teaching force may help states and districts close large, persistent racial and ethnic achievement gaps and improve the educational outcomes of minority students. In particular, the research finds benefits for black students.
