Expanding Access to Supplemental Benefits in Medicare Advantage

Abstract

CMS recently granted Medicare Advantage plans greater flexibility to offer supplemental benefits. The scope of these supplemental benefits includes services that address the social determinants of health. In this brief, we examine the offer of supplemental benefits as of early 2022.
