Survey Design for TANF Caseload Project: Summary Report and Recommendations

Abstract

Summarizes existing survey instruments that focus on welfare populations, especially those with sections covering barriers to employability and self-sufficiency, and recommends measures and questions to include in a new instrument that states and counties can use to conduct telephone surveys of TANF recipients.
