Medicare+Choice 2000: Will Enrollees Spend More and Receive Less?

Abstract

Several HMOs participating in Medicare+Choice have a July 1 deadline to decide to change their benefit packages or withdraw from the program, affecting health care for many of the six million elderly and disabled Americans now enrolled in Medicare managed care.
