Abhängigkeitsanalyse und graphische Modellierung

    Seit Anfang der 90er Jahre gewinnt die graphische Modellierung abhängigkeitsanalytischer Modelle an Bedeutung. Dieser Beitrag widmet sich zunächst den Grundzügen der Abhängigkeitsanalyse, wobei wahrscheinlichkeitstheoretische Grundlagen und axiomatische Darstellungen von Unabhängigkeitsrelationen im Mittelpunkt dieser Betrachtungen stehen. Daran anschließend wird die graphische Modellierung von Abhängigkeitsstrukturen vorgestellt. Anschließend folgt die Präsentation des Programms (TETRAD III), welches die oben genannten Theorien aufgreift und dem Benutzer ein Tool zur Erkennung von Abhängigkeitsstrukturen bereitstellt. Zum Abschluß der Ausführungen wird die Anwendung dieses Programms im Rahmen der Untersuchung ökonomischer Daten (deutscher Kapitalmarkt) diskutiert.
