Ökonomik in der Technikfolgenabschätzung – eine Bestandsaufnahme (ITA manu:script 14-03)

Abstract

Ökonomische Analysen und Bewertungen sind als Teil einer gesamtgesellschaftlichen Betrachtungsweise aus der Technikfolgenabschätzung nicht wegzudenken. Insbesondere in den ökonomischen Modellen der Neoklassik kommt dem technischen Fortschritt eine bedeutende Rolle zu, da durch diesen wirtschaftliches Wachstum erklärt wird. Nach der Darstellung der wichtigsten ökonomischen Methoden in der Technikfolgenabschätzung wird in den Forschungsgebieten Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien, Nachhaltigkeit und Biotechnologie zum einen gezeigt, welchen theoretischen Hintergrund es dazu gibt und zum anderen werden exemplarisch empirische Forschungsarbeiten mit ökonomischem Fokus innerhalb der Technikfolgenabschätzung sowie TA-relevante Ergebnisse aus anderen Bereichen dargestellt. Die Ergebnisse zeigen die methodische und thematische Vielfalt ökonomischer Fragestellungen in der Technikfolgenabschätzung auf.
