Abstract

The third annual Agricultural Entrepreneurship Unconference met on October 17, 2019 in Ames, Iowa. The event was co-sponsored by the Iowa State University Agricultural Entrepreneurship Initiative and the Ag Startup Engine. This white paper attempts to summarize presentations and discussions that took place at the Unconference, though surely falls short of the richness and insight of the dialogue that occurred. The aim is to provide, for those who did not attend, a glimpse into the Unconference discussions which centered on the deployment of risk capital in agriculture.
