Mecanismos para impulsar la comunicación científica

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende detectar los factores clave a la hora de incentivar la comunicación de la ciencia por la comunidad científica. Se parte de una serie de datos recogidos a través de encuesta a científicos en España, Holanda, Austria y otros países por el proyecto europeo de investigación H2020 TRESCA (Trustworthy, Reliable and Engaging Scientific Communication Approaches). Los datos se analizan para comprender cómo se da esa comunicación actualmente. Encontramos que existen diferencias entre aquellos incentivos para la comunicación entre pares y la comunicación con el público general. Además, este segundo tipo no muestra estar tan influenciado por el contexto institucional, sino que el factor psicológico o interno (deontos) asume un papel relevante en la decisión de comunicar la ciencia. Se concluye que este hecho resalta la necesidad de reconocer y reforzar la cultura científica entre la población.
