Abstract

Parmi les multiples significations qui se cachent derrière l?expression « récit de vie », figure une méthode de recherche en sciences humaines : l?approche biographique. Ce chapitre a pour vocation d?offrir aux étudiants de DBA une vision d?ensemble de ce que sont les récits de vie en tant que méthode, en les resituant dans leur contexte historique et en présentant les enjeux et questionnements épistémologiques auxquels ils sont associés. Ce chapitre pose également les grands principes pouvant aider les chercheurs dans l?utilisation de cette méthode, en pointant du doigt les objets de recherche pouvant être étudiés grâce à l?approche biographique et en offrant des conseils pratiques quant à la conduite de ce type d?enquête.
