Inserção em Cadeias Globais de Valor e Políticas Públicas: O Caso do Brasil

Abstract

O texto procura analisar as políticas comerciais e industriais no Brasil à luz do enfoque normativo das cadeias globais de valor. A análise do caso brasileiro mostra que as políticas adotadas pelo país no período recente sinalizam na direção contrária das prescrições emanadas da literatura de cadeias globais de valor. This article aims to analyze trade and industrial policies in Brazil in light of the normative approach of the global value chains. The analysis of the Brazilian case shows that the policies recently adopted by the country point to the opposite direction from the prescriptions of the global value chains literature.
