O Financiamento da Agropecuária Brasileira no Período Recente

O trabalho trata de analisar os aspectos macroeconômicos ligados à agropecuária e as mudanças conjunturais ocorridas nos últimos anos. Em especial analisa-se a relação entre o crédito rural e o desempenho setorial caracterizando algumas inovações do período. Com relação à agricultura familiar, coloca-se em papel de destaque o crédito cuja presença ainda é muito reduzida no segmento com o agravante de que as regras constituídas pelo Pronaf proporcionam problemas de focalização. Muito embora o financiamento tenha avançado na década passada, esse avanço é relativo e não dá conta da crescente multifuncionalidade dos estabelecimentos da agricultura familiar. The paper strives to analyze the macroeconomic aspects related to agriculture and conjectural changes in recent years. In particular we analyze on the relationship between rural credit and sector performance characterizing some innovations of the period. With respect to family farming, the credit is the main policy but its role is still very timid in the segment with the aggravating factor that the rules established by Pronaf led to misfocusing. Although funding has advanced in the past decade this progress is relative and does not account for the increasing multifunctionality of family farming establishments.
