Abstract

This briefing note, produced as part of the SPRING (Policy Supporting Programme - Social Protection and Inclusive Growth) programme, aims to present Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and Social Protection (SP), clarifying certain complex aspects and providing useful bibliographical resources. Although it focuses on Central and East Africa, in particular the DRC, Rwanda and Uganda, it is part of a wider reflection on social protection and inclusive growth.
