Informe sobre el personal técnico-administrativo de la enseñanza superior en la Argentina, el Brasil, Colombia y México

Abstract

Este informe trata sobre el personal técnico-administrativo (PTA) de la enseñanza superior en la Argentina, Brasil, Colombia y México. Dentro de este grupo de trabajadores podemos incluir al personal administrativo, coordinador, directivo en algunos casos, y a los técnicos informativos y de laboratorio, entre otros. A lo largo del texto se presenta un panorama general de la educación superior en cada uno de los países y se examina la participación del PTA en los sistemas universitarios públicos y privados, la cantidad de trabajadores y sus características, así como el impacto del sector privado. De igual manera, se presentan las condiciones laborales de dicho personal de manera integral, las brechas de género, el acceso a beneficios, pensiones, licencias remuneradas, seguridad y salud en el trabajo y oportunidades de formación profesional. Por último, se presentan algunas de sus agremiaciones sindicales, los marcos de negociación colectiva en cada uno de los casos y los desafíos frente a estos temas. El texto concluye resaltando algunas buenas prácticas y recomendaciones a partir de la experiencia de los distintos países.
