Desarrollo urbano y empleo en San Pablo : una síntesis preliminar de un estudio de caso

Abstract

Examina el desarrollo y el crecimiento urbanos de San Pablo y, con especial referencia, la absorción de la mano de obra y la contribución económica que de dicha ciudad ha aportado a Brasil. Examina el papel que ha jugado la migración interna en el mercado de trabajo de la ciudad y el grado de influencia en el crecimiento de su población urbana. Analiza la estructura del empleo urbano y describe la tasa de utilización de la mano de obra por sector de actividad.
