Abstract

Working paper on employment policies and economic policies in pursuit of structural change and stabilization in Yugoslavia - examines economic structures, inflation, external debt, ineffective resource allocation, underemployment, unemployment, regional disparity, shortcomings of economic planning, price policies and wage policies, role of IMF, etc.; finds that reduction of investment and consumption and wage cuts will not improve efficiency. References, statistical tables.
