Reference to the influx from 1945-1984 of irregular migrants and migrant workers - examines the historical background of migration policy, delivery of work permits, economic implications for the labour market and occupational structure; includes data on nationality, sex etc. Of immigrants and reviews measures against clandestine employment. References, statistical tables.
