Abstract

Working paper on irregular migrants (mainly immigration from Colombia) and the General Register of Foreigners in Venezuela - covers immigration in the 1970s and its relationship to economic conditions, migration policy, and the legal aspects and institutional framework for registering and legalizing immigrants.
