Abstract

Working paper examining trends in international migration of Jordanian migrant workers and the impact on the domestic labour market in Jordan - discusses the occupational structure of the emigrants, skill scarcity, etc.; reviews government policies to counteract labour shortages; comments on the replacement of emigrant labour force by immigrants.
