Abstract

ILO pub-WEP pub-PREALC pub. Interim report analyzing decentralization and popular participation in rural area health service social planning in Costa Rica - analyses the efficiency of the Rural Health Programme and primary health care; gives the historical background, reviews WHO and UNICEF health policies and special subprogrammes for development of infrastructure and support services; discusses the institutional framework. Bibliography, diagrams and statistical tables.
