Abstract

Diffusion study of institutional frameworks for agricultural technology Innovation, i.e., high yielding variety rice, in Bangladesh - applies Ruttan's induced Innovation model to explain technological change; deals with land ownership, subsistence farming, use of fertilizer, cooperative farming, and linkage between technological institutes and the economic conditions and social environment of the peasant farmer. Bibliography, charts, graph and statistical tables.
