Abstract

ILO pub-wep pub. Working paper on islamic rural women (hausa married women) in rural development in northern Nigeria - presents a village case study on the impact of sexual division of labour (men and woman worker roles in farming, food processing and retail marketing) and of social structure (social class, access to education, agricultural credit, to land ownership, etc.) On wage rates, income and employment opportunity.
