Abstract

Working paper on employment effects of multinational enterprises in the UK - presents some features of foreign investment in the UK, finds higher employment records in foreign and British based multinationals than in domestic firms, and discusses export, financing and manufacturing industry relationships, etc. References and statistical tables.
