Abstract

Working paper, emanating from a WEP research project concerned with population and employment, on the impact of internal migration on occupational structure and income distribution in Brazil - covers the impact of rural migration on urban area unemployment, demographic traits of migrants, the proportion of low income occupations in the labour market, etc. References and statistical tables.
