Abstract

O objetivo do presente trabalho é, a partir da análise da historia de urna firma brasileira produtora de máquinas ferramentas, buscar evidencias empíricas que permitam responder a duas questoÞes: i) Houve inovaçaÞo tecnológica na firma? ii) Se houve, como se processou a aprendizagem desta tecnologia e em que medida pode-se dizer que a firma gerou tecnologia, dado que ela se encontra localizada em um país subdesenvolvido?
