Algunas dimensiones de la profesionalización de los docentes: representaciones y temas de la agenda política

Abstract

Este documento comienza con afirmando el carácter estratégico del factor humano en la prestación del servicio educativo. Luego se presentan los resultados de un programa de investigación sobre actitudes y expectativas de los docentes respecto de su propio rol profesional, las nuevas tecnologías educativas y determinadas dimensiones que configuran la carrera docente (sistemas de evaluación de docentes y aspiraciones laborales). Por último se proponen ciertos temas y metas para construir una agenda de política educativa relacionados con la profesionalización de los docentes para el mediano plazo y se sugieren algunos criterios de política específicamente orientados a garantizar las mejores probabilidades de éxito de aquellas intervenciones específicamente orientadas a transformar la subjetividad del docente y el conjunto de reglas y recursos que estructuran su profesión.
