Abstract

Die oekonomische Theorie hat mit Moral wenig oder gar nichts zu tun. In den gaengigen Lehrbuechern der Mikrooekonomie findet sich in den Stichwortverzeichnissen kein Eintrag zu Moral oder zu Ethik. Die Studierenden lernen ueber die Wirtschaft nachzudenken, aber sie lernen nicht, systematisch ueber ethische Fragen zu reflektieren. Nach der neoklassischen Lehre, wie sie in den Lehrbuechern praesentiert wird, weist wirtschaftliches Handeln nicht grundsaetzlich moralische Aspekte auf. Ein solcher Tatbestand ist erstaunlich. Er widerspricht (phaenomenologisch) unseren oekonomischen Alltagserfahrungen und (theoriegeschichtlich) einer jahrhundertelangen Tradition, die vor gut zwei Jahrhunderten schrittweise aufgegeben und im 20. Jahrhundert durch dezidiert morallose Standpunkte ersetzt worden ist.
