Abstract

Este documento presenta y discute la relevancia del fenómeno de la corrupción en el desarrollo económico, estableciendo la complejidad que implica el abordaje desde su conceptualización hasta su medición. Se examina la importancia del capital social para el desarrollo económico y su relación con la corrupción desde un enfoque descriptivo. Los resultados muestran la relación entre el capital social y la corrupción en los países analizados, destacando cómo el capital social puede influir en la percepción y la realidad de la corrupción.
