Abstract

"We analyze structural change in Germany and its counties between 1993 and 2024. Thereby, special focus is put on regional differences in the degree of specialization on specific sectors and on its relation with regional structural change. We discuss the relevance of our findings for upcoming changes in German regional policy measures." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
