Abstract

"At 64 percent in 2024, the employment rate of refugees who migrated to Germany in 2015 has risen sharply to approach the German average, despite a pronounced gender gap. However, a large proportion of refugees earn only slightly more than the low-wage threshold. An important factor explaining refugees’ labor market integration is the general regional labor market situation." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
