Abstract

"Climate change requires a restructuring of the economy. This also increases the need for specific skills in the workforce. Vocational training plays a particularly important role in meeting this need. How can this restructuring succeed if a particularly large number of employees retire in the next years and at the same time the number of school leavers is rather small? The authors examine how the vocational training market for occupations with green skills has developed since 2013." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
