Abstract

"Since the introduction of the Participation Opportunities Act (Teilhabechancengesetz), §16i of Book II of the Social Code (SGB II) has provided a wage subsidy at the disposal of Job Centres, that comes close to the core idea of a social labour market. The job centres welcome the new instrument. There are, however, considerable differences in its interpretation and implementation." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
