Abstract

"In der 10. Welle des IAB-Betriebspanels 2002 werden die Betriebe nach ihrem Verhältnis zum Arbeitsamt und seinen Leistungen gefragt. Über die Hälfte aller Betriebe in Ostdeutschland (57 %), aber nur 40 % der westdeutschen Betriebe haben telefonischen Kontakt zum Arbeitsamt. Regelmäßige persönliche Besuche von Mitarbeitern des Arbeitsamtes in den Betrieben sind eher selten, in Ostdeutschland aber etwa doppelt so hoch wie in Westdeutschland. Sowohl bei den persönlichen als auch bei telefonischen Kontakten mit dem Arbeitsamt macht etwa die Hälfte der Betriebe in Ost und West eher positive Erfahrungen. Diese Kontakte werden von westdeutschen Betrieben vorwiegend zur Personalsuche genutzt, während in Ostdeutschland Informationen zu den finanziellen Leistungen des Arbeitsamtes im Vordergrund stehen."
