Arbeitslosigkeit: Qualifikation bestimmt Position auf dem Arbeitsmarkt

Abstract

Trotz erheblicher methodischer Probleme aufgrund der veränderten Erfassung der Berufsabschlüsse seit dem Mikrozensus 1999 legt das IAB in dem Kurzbericht neue Rechenergebnisse zu den qualifikationsspezifischen Arbeitslosenquoten bis zum Jahr 2000 vor. Es wird festgestellt, dass Ungelernte nach wie vor das höchste Risiko tragen, arbeitslos zu werden und zu bleiben. Insgesamt haben fast 40 Prozent der Arbeitslosen keinen beruflichen Abschluss. Bei Personen mit Hoch- und Fachhochabschluss kann dagegen von Vollbeschäftigung gesprochen werden. Auch die Arbeitslosenquoten der mittleren Qualifikationsebene liegen unterhalb des Durchschnitts. Allgemein ist zu beobachten, dass das Arbeitsmarktrisiko stärker vom beruflichen Abschluss als vom Geschlecht bestimmt ist. (IAB2)
