Die Arbeitsmarktsituation von EU-Bürgern und Angehörigen von Drittstaaten

Abstract

Der Beitrag beruht auf einer Studie, die im Rahmen eines Kooperationsprojekts zwischen IAB und Eurostat erstellt wurde. Auf der Grundlage von Auswertungen der Europäischen Arbeitskräfteerhebung, einer Haushaltsbefragung auf Stichprobenbasis, die seit 1983 in allen EU-Mitgliedsstaaten durchgeführt wird, wird festgestellt, daß sich die Situationen von In- und Ausländern in der EU hinsichtlich Arbeitslosigkeit, Beschäftigung und Selbständigkeit sehr deutlich voneinander unterscheiden. So liegt die Arbeitslosenquote ausländischer Staatsangehöriger überall über derjenigen der Inländer. Arbeitsmarktprobleme von bestimmten Personengruppen (Frauen, Jugendliche, gering Qualifizierte) zeigen sich bei Ausländern noch zusätzlich. Dies trifft grundsätzlich auf alle 15 EU-Staaten zu und hat sich in den letzten Jahren kaum gebessert. (IAB)
