Positive Zwischenbilanz für "Überbrückungsgeld-Empfänger" : wer die ersten drei Jahre übersteht, hat einen wichtigen Schritt beim Aufbau einer selbständigen Existenz getan

Abstract

In einer Längsschnittuntersuchung wurden von der Bundesanstalt für Arbeit geförderte Existenzgründer der Jahre 1994/95 im Sommer 1997 schriftlich bzw. telefonisch zum Erfolg der Maßnahmen befragt (Rücklauf 89 %). Es wird festgestellt, daß rund drei Jahre nach der Gründung gut 70 % der Geförderten noch immer selbständig sind. 5 % üben ihre ehemals geförderte Tätigkeit noch nebenberuflich aus. 12 % sind zwischenzeitlich in eine sozialversicherungspflichtige Beschäftigung gewechselt. Nur 11 % der ehemaligen Überbrückungsgeld-Empfänger sind wieder arbeitslos gemeldet. Die neugegründeten Unternehmen beschäftigen im Durchschnitt neben dem Geförderten noch einen Mitarbeiter. Die überwiegende Mehrheit der in Selbständigkeit verbliebenen blickt verhalten optimistisch in die Zukunft und stellt weitere moderate Beschäftigungszuwächse in Aussicht. (IAB2)
