Befristete Beschäftigung weitgehend stabil : Anteil der Zeitverträge im Osten so hoch wie im Westen

Abstract

Auf der Grundlage von Mikrozensus-Daten wird gezeigt, daß der Anteil der Zeitverträge zwischen 1985 und 1991 weitgehend stabil geblieben ist. In nur geringem Umfang sind konjunkturabhängige Reaktionen zu beobachten gewesen. In der Hochkonjunktur 1991 erreichte der Befristungsanteil bei steigender Beschäftigung den niedrigsten Wert des Zeitraums (5.1%). In der gegenwärtigen Rezession und bei einer folgenden Stabilisierung ist zu erwarten, daß der Anteil der Zeitverträge wieder leicht zunehmen wird. Ein bereits hoher Anteil (10,3%) und ein weiterer Anstieg der befristeten Beschäftigung ist in den neuen Bundesländern zu beobachten. Dies ist hier allerdings auf die Abwicklung und Umstrukturierung der öffentlichen Institutionen und der staatlichen Unternehmen zurückzuführen. (IAB2)
