Abstract

"Das IAB-Betriebspanel steht seit vielen Jahren Externen über das Forschungsdatenzentrum der Bundesagentur für Arbeit im IAB (FDZ) für wissenschaftliche Arbeiten zur Verfügung. Es hat sich seither zu einem der meist genutzten Datensätze des FDZ entwickelt. Dieser Entwicklung wollen wir Rechnung tragen, in dem ab der Welle 2015 ein neuer Methodenbericht angeboten wird. Bislang waren Informationen zum Erhebungsdesign nur in einem gedruckten Dokument direkt im FDZ für die Nutzer einsehbar. In dem neuen Bericht werden jetzt alle relevanten Informationen zu den methodischen Grundlagen des IAB-Betriebspanels zusammengefasst und so aufbereitet, dass der Datenschutz einer Veröffentlichung und Zitation nicht mehr entgegensteht. Der neue Methodenbericht ist in sechs Abschnitte gegliedert: Die jeweiligen Kapitel bieten Informationen zur Grundgesamt und Stichprobenziehung, zur Fragenbogenentwicklung und Pretest, Studiendesign und -organisation, zur Teilnahmebereitschaft der Betriebe, zur Datenprüfung und nicht zuletzt zu den zur Verfügung stehenden Hochrechnungsfaktoren. Diesen Kapiteln ist ein kurzer Abschnitt mit den Neuerungen zur vorhergehenden Welle vorangestellt, um den Nutzern einen schnellen Überblick über Veränderungen zu geben." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
