Abstract

"This wave-specific data report of wave 12 documents the aspects of the study. In chapter 1 an overview of the aims and research questions of the study is given with a short description of the instruments and the survey program in chapter 1.2 and the characteristics and innovations of wave 12 in chapter 1.3. In chapter 2 the data report provides key figures on the wave's sample and response rates. The data itself and the data preparation are the topics of the following chapters. In chapter 3 an overview of the data structure is given and in chapter 4 the generated variables are presented. Furthermore, the data preparation and the decisions taken during this process are described in chapter 5. In chapter 6 the weighting procedure is presented. Finally, a complete overview of all datasets of all waves of PASS is given. The frequencies of all variables included in the scientific use file wave 12 are listed in separate tables according to the specific data sets (Volumes II through V)."
