Abstract

"Das IAB-Betriebspanel umfasst mittlerweile 12 Erhebungswellen von 1993-2004, die im Forschungsdatenzentrum der BA im IAB zur Verfügung stehen. Durch die wiederholte Befragung der gleichen Betriebe können betriebsindividuelle Verläufe nicht nur im Quer- sondern auch im Längsschnitt untersucht werden. Nach einer kurzen Beschreibung des IAB-Betriebspanels wird die Struktur des Paneldatensatzes vorgestellt. Anschließend werden in Kapitel 4 die Variablen für den Datensatz tabellarisch dargestellt und der Umgang mit den Programmcodes erläutert. Im Anhang wird jede Variable des Paneldatensatzes beschrieben. Dabei wird auch auf die Ausprägungen und eventuell auftretende Einschränkungen bzw. Probleme eingegangen. Im Anschluss daran werden Häufigkeitsauszählungen' der verwendeten Variablen präsentiert. Die Programmcodes in SPSS und STATA sind in einem gesonderten Dokument ausgewiesenen" (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
