家計内サービス生産関数及び時間制約に関する一考察, Time Constraints and Home Production Function for Service

Abstract

余暇目的の時間・金銭投入に関する独自調査に基づき、家計内生産関数の形状に関する推計を行った。先行研究の多くは外部労働市場における賃金情報を用いており、財と時間の間の代替の弾力性は1より大きく、強い代替性があることが報告されている。しかし、この場合、専業主婦など、外部労働市場での時間投入がない人の推計が著しく困難となる。本論文では、時間・財投入の情報から弾力性が1より大きいか、小さいを識別する関係式を導出し、日本におけるデータに適用したところ、先行研究と異なり、時間と財投入の間には強い代替性はなく、十分な時間を余暇に割くことができない人は、財投入も少なくなる傾向があるという結果を得た。
