Arbejdspladserne og sundhedsforsikring Hvem og hvor mange har en sundhedsforsikring, hvorfor og med hvilke effekter?

Abstract

Dette er en foreløbig og oversigtlig afrapportering baseret på den største systematiske undersøgelse af syge-og sundhedsforsikringer i Danmark. Godt 5.400 mennesker mellem 18-75 år blev interviewet i juni måned 2009, jfr. Health Economics Paper 2009:3. Formålet med notatet er ikke at præsentere udtømmende analyser, men dels at give relevante baggrundsoplys-ninger og dokumentation vedr. arbejdsgiverbetalte forsikringer, herunder skattespørgsmålet, dels præsentere beskrivende bivariate analyser vedr. kendetegn hos de forsikrede og virksomhederne og to effekter af forsikring: Forbrug af sundhedsydelser og sygefravær, der dog for begges vedkommende analyseres ved hjælp af regressionsanalyse. Endelig er der et særligt afsnit vedr. den såkaldte ”A og B-hold-problematik”, der dybest set drejer sig om evt. ulighedsfremmende aspekter ved syge-og sundhedsforsikringer.
