Kostnader för reumatoid artrit i Sverige år 2014

Abstract

Sedan introduktionen av biologiska läkemedel för behandling av reumatoid artrit har det funnits ett stort intresse för att följa konsekvenser av dessa nya behandlingsmöjligheter. Vilka konsekvenser som nya behandlingsteknologier får i praktiken och i breda patientgrupper beror inte bara på vilka utfall som är möjliga vid medicinskt optimerad behandling. De faktiska utfallen beror framförallt på hur användningen av nya teknologier ser ut i klinisk vardag. Denna rapport syftar till att beräkna de samhällsekonomiska kostnaderna för reumatoid artrit i Sverige år 2014. Rapporten har gjorts på uppdrag av och med finansiering av Eli Lilly Sweden AB.
