Operation digitalisering – en ESO-rapport om hälso- och sjukvården

Abstract

För att kunna möta de höga förväntningar som ställs på sjukvården, i dag och i framtiden, måste digitaliseringens möjligheter tillvaratas på bästa sätt. I denna ESO-rapport går Mårten Blix och Charlotta Levay igenom litteraturen i jakt på nationella och internationella erfarenheter av digitaliseringen av hälso- och sjukvården. Baserat på sammanställningar av resultat från forskningsartiklar – i huvudsak från högt rankade vetenskapliga tidskrifter, men även andra källor med hög trovärdighet – ger författarna förslag på hur digitaliseringens potential bäst kan tas tillvara i den svenska vården. Slutsatsen är att det behövs ett målinriktat nationellt arbete för en effektiv digital vård med ett anpassat ersättningssystem. För att få en smidig övergång till mer digitaliserad vård är det viktigt att vårdpersonalen involveras och får den kompetensutveckling som krävs. Det är också av största vikt att patienternas integritet skyddas vid all användning av sjukvårdsdata.
