Abstract

Dans un contexte de réformes de l'enseignement professionnel, cette étude analyse la place du CAP dans les parcours de formation et d'insertion des jeunes. Elle s'appuie sur les enquêtes Génération du Céreq (2013 et 2020) pour comparer les trajectoires des sortants de 2010 et 2017. L'étude révèle une évolution des profils, avec une hausse des élèves issus de Segpa/Ulis, et confirme le rôle du CAP comme levier d'insertion, bien que moins favorable que le bac pro. Elle souligne des disparités selon la voie de formation, la spécialité, le genre et l'origine sociale. Enfin, elle montre que la double diplomation CAP + bac améliore les perspectives d'insertion, parfois comparables à celles des diplômés du supérieur.
