Este artículo busca presentar la organización y el funcionamiento del Fondo Monetario Internacional, así como la posible incidencia de este Organismo en la crisis económica actual que lo conducirán, probablemente, a replantear el principio de condicionalidad que rige sus políticas de otorgamiento de crédito a los países miembros
