Abstract

The follow-up survey conducted by the University of Poitiers, coupled with the qualitative study of 25 PhDs paths allows analyzing their access to employment. While the main project when beginning PhD thesis is academic career, the case of stabilization in Higher Education and Research are a minority. We observe a diversity of configurations showing the tangle of professional, personal and geographical dimensions.
