    Cet article a pour objectif d'analyser les enjeux de la construction d'un marché des tirages photographiques fondé sur les règles du marché de l'art. Après avoir rappelé les règles de formation des prix sur le marché de l'art contemporain basées sur la valorisation de la rareté et de l'originalité, nous décrivons le processus de construction du marché des tirages photographiques depuis le début des années soixante. Enfin, nous nous interrogeons sur les risques de réduire la photographie artistique aux seules images vendues dans les galeries et les ventes aux enchères.
