Concentración Y Heterogeneidad En La Industria Hotelera

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es estudiar del grado de concentración de la industria hotelera, con especial referencia al caso español. Para ello, una introducción, se presenta una revisión de la literatura que aborda la cuestión de los conceptos e indicadores de concentración utilizados. Seguidamente, se aplican un conjunto de indicadores seleccionados. La aplicación empírica considera el nivel mundial, el regional y el nacional. Se analizan los resultados obtenidos primero a nivel mundial y europeo y, después, a escala española. Las principales conclusiones son, por un lado, la baja concentración de la industria española y su elevada heterogeneidad.
